| - The study of genetic vaiability is of BRSV is based mainly on sequence analysis of glycoprotein G gene, which is the most variable viral protein. In our study, multiple sequence alignment at nucleotide and amino acid levels of 15 different BRSV isolateswas carried out. The nucleotide and amino acid sequence of proteinectodomain revealed 87.3-97.4 % and 77.2-95.7 % homology, respectively. The sequence variability has been distributed equally along the whole gene of ectodomain, howeve, the nonsynonymoussubstitutions were located predominantly in two mucin-like regions of the protein. It is conceivable that the mutations of these regions are subject to the selective immune pressure.

- Studium genetické variability bovinního respiračního syncytiálního viru je založeno především na srovnání sekvencí genu pro glykoprotein G, který je nejvíce variabilním virovým proteinem. V naší studui byly srovnány nukleotidové a aminokyselinové sekvence 15 různých izolátů BRSV. Nukleotidové sekvence kódující ektodoménu glykoproteinu G vykazovaly shodu v rozsahu 87,3-97,4 %, aminokyselinové pak v rozsahu 77,2-95,7 %. I když variabilita sekvencí byla rozmístěna rovnoměrně podél celé délky genu, nesynonymní mutace byly četnější ve dvou %22mucin-like%22 regionech proteinu. Mutace v těchto regionech mohou být výrazem selekčního tlaku imunitního systému zvířat na virové proteiny. (cs)
