  • The paper deals with important issues in the power use of solid biomass coming from the agricultural, forestry, and food production. Different possibilities are considered to utilize the biomass as fuel for the combustion equipments. Such problems are of paramount importance in view of the continually increasing needs for the fuels, renewable sources of energy and biomass. Great emphasis must be put on meeting the stringent environmental standards of the combustion processes. The assessment starts fromthe chemical composition of the employed fuels, stoichiometrics computations, and operational parameters of a given type of the combustion equipment. This timely paper responds to urgent needs to reduce the emissions of air pollutants and thus to improve the quality of the atmosphere. The work is aimed at determining the stoichiometrics of the burned raw material in dependence on the excess of air and the sort of burned biomass.

  • Studie se zabývá důležitými problémy s používáním pevné biomasy pocházející ze zemědělství, lesnictví a potravinářství. Různé možnosti jsou uvažovány k využití biomasy jako paliva pro spalovací zařízení. Tyto problémy jsou nejvyšší důležitosti z pohleduprůběžného zvyšování potřeb pro paliva, obnovitelné zdroje energie a biomasy. Velký důraz musí být zaměřen na splnění přísných norem na životní prostředí z pohledu spalovacích procesů. Hodnocení začíná chemickým složením paliv, stoichiometrickými výpočty a operačními parametry daného typu spalovacího zařízení. Tato studie odpovídá na urgentní potřeby na snížení emisí vzdušných znečišťujících látek a tudíž i na zlepšení kvality ovzduší. Práce je zaměřena na stanovení stoichiometrie spálení suroviny v závislosti na přebytku vzduchu a složení spálené biomasy. (cs)
