Description	Reakce na infekci virovou žlutou zakrslostí ječmene (BYDV) byla hodnocena v tříletých polních pokusech s umělou infekcí u 17 odrůd ozimé pšenice a 11 odrůd ozimého ječmene. Symptomy choroby byly hodnoceny na stupnici 0–9 a u pšenice byla navíc hodnocena redukce hmotnosti zrna na klas a redukce délky rostlin vlivem choroby. U pšenice byla nejvyšší úroveň rezistence detekována u linie PSR 3628 (pšenično-pýrný hybrid). Nejvyšší výnosovou toleranci k chorobě vykazovala odrůda Matylda. U ozimého ječmene měla nejvyšší úroveň rezistence kontrolní odrůda Wysor. Z registrovaných odrůd ozimého ječmene byla na základě předběžných výsledků střední úroveň rezistence zjištěna u odrůdy Yatzy, zatímco ostatní registrované odrůdy vykazovaly náchylnost. (cs) The reaction of 17 winter wheat and 11 winter barley varieties to artificial infection with barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) was evaluated in small-plot field trials lasting for three years. Disease symptoms were visually recorded using 0-9 scale and in wheat the percent reduction of plant height and percent reduction of grain weight per spike due to BYDV infection were determined. In winter wheat the highest resistance level was detected in PSR 3628 (a hybrid of wheat and couch-grass). Among the registered varieties of winter wheat, Matylda showed yield tolerance against BYDV. In winter barley the highest resistance to BYDV was detected in the check variety Wysor. The registered winter barley varieties Yatzy showed relatively middle resistance level on the basis of preliminary results, while the other registered winter barley cultivars expressed apparent susceptibility.
