Description	Our paper demonstrates the effect of sublethal doses of essential oils (EOs) from 13 aromatic plant species on the development and fertility of Spodoptera littoralis. EOs were applied to 4th instar larvae in dosages corresponding to the estimated LD30. The application-surviving larvae were maintained until the end of their development. Larval and pupal mortalities were monitored during their development.
