  • Transgenní rostliny pšenice nesoucí gen PSAG-ipt pro syntézu izopentenyladeninu se vyznačovaly pomalejším poklesem rychlosti příjmu nitrátů v době po začátku kvetení. Ve srovnání s kontrolními rostlinami bylo pozorováno oddálení senescence listů, které je provázeno rozpadem chlorofylu a změnami v obsahu cytokininů. Kromě toho byla u transgenních rostlin pozorována pomalejší remobilizace N pro tvorbu zrna. (cs)
  • Wheat plants transformed with ipt under senescence-inducible promoter (PSAG12) exhibited slower decrease of nitrate influx after anthesis. As compared to the controls the progress of senescence in transgenic plants characterized by the changes in chlorophyll content and levels of endogenous cytokinins was delayed at flowering and during period of grain formation. They were also characterized by slower remobilization N from reserves.
