  • Preparation and utilisation of spelt gluten hydrolysates. The biological activity of the peptide fractions was tested on a model hybridoma at a concentration range from 0.02 to 0.2. Striking effect of peptide fractions, even at the lowest concentrations, was a significantly higher persistence of viable cells on day 6, i.e. at the decline phase of the cultures. Culture viability values in the presence of peptide fractions were 64 - 74 %, in comparison with 56 % in the control culture. Obtained results are consistent with the concept that peptide molecules may act as antiapoptic agents, survival factors, rather than serving as metabolic substrates.

  • Příprava a využití hydrolyzátů lepkových bílkovin pšenice špaldy. Biologická aktivita peptidických frakcí byla testována na modelových hybridomech v rozpětí koncentrací 0,02 až 0,2 %. Překvapivým účinkem, dokonce v nejnižších testovaných koncentracích, bylo průkazně vyšší přežívání buněk šestý den tj. ve fázi rozpadu kultur. Hodnoty životnosti kultur byly za přítomnosti peptidových frakcí 64 ? 74 % ve srovnání s 56 % u kontrolní kultury. Získané výsledky odpovídají konceptu, že molekuly peptidů mohou působit jako antiapoptická agens, faktory přežití, spíše než jako metabolické substráty (cs)
