  • Long-term field experiments confirm, that the hybrid sorrel of Uteush (Rumex patientia x Rumex tianschanicus) is a very perspective high productive energetic crop for growing in the middle climatic conditions. Yields of dry matter are in average 14-16 t per ha, which even exceed the common yield of fast growing woods. Morover, this hybrid sorrel is a very perspective crop for production of high quality forage, specialised food products and biologically active food and feed additives because of the high content of raw protein (20-40 % in DM), fat, food fibres, cyrbohydrates, ashes, ascorbic acid and carotene.
