Description
Pozdně devonská-raně karbonská subdukce zralého korového materiálu mohla vést k metasomatismu a přímé kontaminaci nadložního plášťového klínu. Brzy po HP metamorfním vrcholu (~340Ma) a odlomení subdukované desky, tyto anomální plášťové domény mohly být taveny teplem pronikající astenosféry. To vedlo ke vzniku ultradraselných intruzí, úzce spjatých s výskyty HP granulitů v prostoru a čase. (cs)
  • In the Moldanubian Zone occur granulites and ultrapotassic magmatites in a close spatial and temporal relationship. For the most basic UK rocks, the high Cr, Ni and mg# require derivation from an Ol-rich source. Elevated concentrations of U, Th, LREE and LILE, depletion in Ti, Nb and Ta as well as high K /Na and Rb/Sr ratios and crustal-like isotopic compositions apparently contradict the mantle origin. This dual geochemical character requires melting of anomalous lithospheric mantle. The Late Devonian-Early Carboniferous subduction of the mature crustal material is thought to have caused direct contamination and metasomatism in the overlying lithospheric mantle wedge. Shortly after the HP metamorphic peak (~340Ma) and the slab break off, these metasomatized and contaminated mantle domains were melted by advected heat from the invading asthenosphere, generating ultrapotassic intrusions, closely related to the granulite occurrences in space and time.
