Description	Geological mappings in the district of Šumperk revealed higher contents of Be (up to 18.3 ppm) in stream sediment samples collected in the vicinity of Králický Sněžník. These anomalies were detected particularly in the Sněžník Unit of the Orlice-Kladsko Crystalline Complex.Be has no significant source in the area of interest that could indicate the connection of Be anomaly with a specific mineral or anthropogenic factor. The correlations among Ba, Ta, Nb and REE contents, and correlation of these elements with MgO, TiO2, and Cr2O3 suggest that Be anomalies could be associated with post-magmatic or late magmatic mineralizations related to the origin of orthogneiss protolite or later pegmatites. Beryllium can occur in primary Be minerals (beryl, etc.), which are typical for endogenous environments such as scarn, greisen and/or pegmatite. Nonetheless, these mineralizations have not been observed in the area of interest.
