Description
  • In geodesy the theory of boundary-value problems has important applications. The exterior Neumann problem is discussed to demonstrate some of the topics, which may be encountered in geodesy. The problem is closely related to the gravimetric boundary value problem. Variational methods and the minimization of the quadratic functional are in the focus of the explanation. Euler's condition then represents a natural starting point for the interpretation of the solution in terms of function bases. Galerkin's approximations are also examined. For the solution domains given by the exterior of a sphere and also of an ellipsoid of revolution the attention is paid to kernels, which have a reproducing property. They generate suitable function bases for the approximation solution. Spherical and ellipsoidal harmonics are used as an efficient tool in constructing the respective integral kernels. Problems with data given on a more complicated boundary are discussed too.

  • V geodézii mé teorie okrajových úloh významné aplikace. Diskutována je vnější Neumanova úloha jako ukázka problémů, se kterými se lze v geodézii setkat. Úloha má blízký vztah ke gravimetrické okrajové úloze. V těžišti výkladu jsou variační metody a minimalizace kvadratického funkcionálu. Eulerova podmínka pak representuje přirozené východisko pro interpretaci řešení ve smyslu funkcionálních basí. Galerkinovy aproximace jsou rovněž vyšetřovány. Pro oblasti řešení dané vnějškem koule a také rotačního elipsoidu je pozornost věnována jádrům, které mají reprodukční vlastnost. Generují vhodné funkcionální base pro aproximativní řešení. Sférické a elipsoidální harmonické funkce jsou použity jako účinný nástroj při konstrukci příslušných integrálních jader. Úlohy\pro data na složitějších hranicích jsou také diskutovány. (cs)
