  • Experimental investigations of magnetic effects on the LCR grafimeters No. 137, No 176 and No. 1086 were carried out at the GO Pecný. In experiments an artificial magnetic field generated by a Helmholtz coil was used. An extreme sensitivity to magnetic field changes up to 0.6 uGal/ T was found with the gravemeter LCR G No. 137. A significant reduction of this disturbing effect by a factor of 1/30 was achieved by placing the gravimeter into the permalloy cylinder NiFe 76.
