| - The effect of interferon-alpha (IFN-?) on the growth, cell cycle, proliferation, apoptotic parameters, adhesive properties and proteome of chronic myelogenous leukemia K562 cells was examined. IFN-? markedly increased the level of ubiquitine cross-reactive protein and the degradation through ubiquitine-proteasome way may thus play a role in IFN-? antiproliferative effects.
