Description	Sternocera Eschscholtz, 1829, Chrysochroa Laporte et Carcel in Dejean, 1833 and Cyphosoma Mannerheim, 1837 are suggested to be fixed as nomina protecta according to the Article 23.9 of the Code. New synonyms are suggested:Cyalithus Thomson, 1878 =Szentendreya Holynski 1980 syn.n., Cyalithus vitalisi (Bourgoin, 1922) =Szentendreya gezai Holynski, 1980 syn.n.,Epidelus ceramensis Théry, 1934 =Szentendreya barbarae Holynski, 1980 syn.n., Anthaxia (Melanthaxia) caucasica Abeille, 1900 =Anthaxia (Menigritula Ratzeburg, 1837 = Anthaxia (Anthaxia) funerula tatrica Kaszab, 1940 syn.n., Anthaxia (Melanthaxia) nigrojubata incognita Bílý, 1974 = Anthaxia (Melanthaxia) nigrojubata alexejevi Bílý, 1974 syn.n. and Chrysobothris affinis affinis (Fabricius, 1 = Chrysobothris materculae Holynski, 1975. Lectotypes are designated for Buprestis funerula Illiger, 1803 and Cratomerus iranicus Rikhter, 1949 Sternocera Eschscholtz, 1829, Chrysochroa Laporte et Carcel in Dejean, 1833 and Cyphosoma Mannerheim, 1837 are suggested to be fixed as nomina protecta according to the Article 23.9 of the Code.
