Description	The water quality and protection of ecosystems perform an important part of T. G. M. Water Research Institute activities. The mission is, above all, to provide activities concerning monitoring and assessing water quality in wide spectrum of enviromnentalcomponents, particularly in water ecosystems. It provides qualified monitoring and assessment of water quality, changes and processes occuring in the aquatic environment, for the needs of state administration, resort bodies, commercial subjects and othe r submitters. Activities are focused on analysis of components of the environment in the area of hydrochemistry, hydrobiology, radiology and microbiology.
