  • Denní kolísání základního odtoku z částečně zamokřeného povodí (32,6 ha) v Orlických horách, pokrytého z 82 % mladým smrkovým lesem s pomístnou příměsí listnáčů a jedle a z 18 % dospělým smrkovým a bukovým lesem, bylo zkoumáno během bezesrážkových period v letním hydrologickém půlroce 1997 a 1998. Zhodnocení informací z literatury vyústilo v hypotézu, že hlavní příčinou poklesu odtoku ve dne oproti odtoku v noci představuje v našich horských přírodních poměrech v bezdešťových periodách evapotranspirace. Vypočtený pokles odtoku vztažený k ploše povodí přímo hydraulicky spojené s hydrografickou sítí s celkovou délkou 1180 m odpovídal ET na dedukované ploše 2,12 ha. Pokles odtoku s rozpětím 22 000 – 87 000 l se střední hodnotou 45 000 l za den představoval ET od 1,1 mm do 4,1 mm se střední hodnotou 2,1 mm. Hodnoty odpovídají údajům jiných autorů, kteří stanovovali ET pro smrkové a bukové lesy odlišnými metodami. (cs)
  • Diurnal variation of baseflow from a small experimental forest catchment in the Orlické hory Mts, covered by a young Norway spruce forest with local admixture of broadleaves and silver fir, and a mature Norway spruce and European beech forest, was investigated during the rainless periods in summer hydrological half year 1997 and 1998. Assessment of scientific knowledge in relation to natural conditions of our mountains resulted in a hypothesis that for a rainless period the main cause of streamflow decrease at daytime against night time consists in forest evapotranspiration. The computed decrease of discharge related to the catchment area directly connected with the drainage network of total length equaled to 1180 m responded to the evapotranspiration on the estimated area 2.12 ha; the discharge decrease ranging from 22,000 to 87,000 l with mean value 2.1 mm per day. In cold and humid mountain regions of the Czech Republi, the method in question could be for rainless periods generalized.
