| Description
| - Na jaře 1990 byl založen výsadbový pokus v hřebenové části Jizerských hor, v oblasti, kde jsou lesy silně poškozovány znečištěním ovzduší. Cílem pokusu je testování růstových schopností různých lesních dřevin - domácích listnáčů a jehličnanů, a jako doplněk i některých introdukovaných jehličnanů. Z výsledků (1990 x 2005) je zřejmé, že nejlépe roste bříza karpatská (Betula carpatica W. et K.), modřín opadavý (Larix decidua Mill.), olše lepkavá (Alnus glutinosa Gaertn.), olše zelená (Alnus alnobetula Ehrh.) a jeřáb ptačí (Sorbus aucuparia L.). Tyto druhy jsou doporučovány pro první fázi obnovy jako %22přípravné dřeviny%22. Počítá se s tím, že druhou fázi obnovy budou tvořit domácí cílové dřeviny - buk lesní (Fagus silvatica L.), javor klen (Acer pseudoplatanus L.) a jedle bělokorá (Abies alba Mill ). Aplikace dolomitického vápence příznivě ovlivnila smrk ztepilý (Picea abies Karst.), buk lesní (Fagus silvatica L.) a javor klen (Acer pseudoplatanus L.). (cs)
- Unfavourable growing conditions cause problems with reforestation of salvage clear-cut areas situated in the mountain higher elevations. That is why, the tree planting experiment was established in the Central Ridge of the Jizerské hory Mts. in 1990. Aimof that experiment is testing of growing abilities of various tree species - native broadleaves and conifers, and, as a supplement, some introduced conifers as well. According to the results, the best growing tree species are Carpathian birch, Europeanlarch, black alder, green alder and rowan. These species are recommended for the first phase of forest regeneration, as %22preparatory species%22. It is presumed, that the second phase of regeneration will be formed by native target species - Norway spruce (Picea abies Karst.), European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), and sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus L.). Finely ground dolomitc limestone application into planting holes positevely affected Norway spruce, European beech, and sycamore maple.
