  • V současnosti se stále více pozornosti věnuje životnímu prostředí a jeho znečištění. Především v městech vede proces urbanizace k nárustu škodlivých emisí. Jedením z nejvýznamnějších zdrojů znečištění ovzduší ve městech je silniční doprava. Neexistuje ucelený soubor měření v reální situaci, který by dostatečným způsobem popisoval příslušné okrajové podmínky tak, aby bylo možno použít matematické modelování. (cs)
  • Nowadays the focus on the environment rises very much, especially the focus on the air pollution. The process of urbanization leads to increasing number of studies about the lowest layer of the atmosphere – the atmospheric boundary layer, primarily in the conurbations. One of the most significant source of the air pollution in the cities is the vehicular traffic. The simulation of the air flow in this situation is a big challenge. There are not so many in situ measurements for sufficient initial and boundary conditions for the simple using of numerical models.
