Description	The topic of the project is the application of the latest tecnologies of semiconductor lasers and in-situ methods for detection of hazardous gases in the frame of reducing health and life risks with the help of tecniques of absorption spectroscopy in the infared and terahertz region. Development and testing of detection techniques and strategies for the monitoring of hazardous substances is also focused on the risk reduction in selected critical infrastructures and on safety research. (en) Předmětem projektu je aplikace nejnovějších technologií a metod in-situ detekce nebezpečných plynných látek v rámci snižování ohrožení zdraví a života občanů a příslušníků bezpečnostních složek s využitím technik absorpční spektroskopie v infračervené a submilimetrové oblasti. Vývoj a testování detekčních technik a strategií pro monitorování nebezpečných látek je zaměřen také na eliminaci průmyslových rizik vybraných prvků kritické infrastuktury a podporu experimentů v oblasti bezpečnosti.
