Description	CIDAM is an interdisciplinary RaD center concentrating teams of leading research institutions and renowned companies in mechatronics. It establishes the system of long-term cooperation of the participants in RaD and enhances the technology and knowledge transfer between research organizations and participating companies. CIDAM addresses new RaD challenges in power electronics, drives/actuators, machine control and complex mechatronic systems via vertical integration of these fields. (en) CIDAM je interdisciplinární výzkumné centrum koncentrující týmy předních výzkumných organizací a renomovaných firem v oblasti mechatroniky. Centrum zavádí systém dlouhodobé spolupráce ve výzkumu,vývoji a inovacích mezi svými členy a akceleruje transfer znalostí a technologií mezi účastnícími se výzkumnými institucemi a firmami. CIDAM otevírá nové výzvy ve výzkumu výkonové elektroniky,pohonů/aktuátorů, řízení strojů a složitých mechatronických systémů s využitím vertikální integrace těchto oborů.
