(en) Rozbor právního řádu a předisů v resortu MV: rozdíly v právních principech, právních důsledcích a v organizaci; stanovení priorit aproximace v oblasti vnitřních věcí a bezpečnostní politiky; rozbor dosud dosažené úrovně vyrovnávání a kompatibility s právem ES; rozbor právních nástrojů a povinností ČR, které vyplývají z Evropské dohody; stanovení metodiky implementace komunitárních právních aktů do českého právního řádu v resortu MV; prozkoumání nových právních aktů EU, důsledky mezinárodních smluv mnohostranných a dvoustranných (zvláště Schengenská dohoda), implementace komunitárního práva: stanovení legislativního jednacího řádu.
