Description	During the last 15 years, the registration of mineralogical type specimens in mineral collections woldwide was organized by the Commision on Museums of the International Mineralogical Association (IMA). However, minerals described particularly in the last century are problematic, because of the type material is not designated and furthermore, the mineralogical determination is mostly insufficiant. Consequently, the Commission on Museum suggested to the members of the IMA to study and verify type minerals from type localities, and to publish results of the study. There have been described about 80 new mineral species from the territory of Bohemia and Moravia such as enstatite, cyrilovite, hercynite, diaphirite, carpholite, cacoxen, stilpnomelane atc. Detailed mineralogical investigation of selected minerals, their designation as type mineral specimens and publishing the results in scientific journals is the principal task of the grant. (en) V posledních letech probíhala celosvětová registrace mineralogických typů ve sbírkách muzeí a univerzit, organizovaná Komisí pro muzea při IMA (International Mineralogical Association). Minerály popsané v minulém a na začátku tohoto století ale představují problém, protože typový materiál většinou není označen, a navíc je determinace minerálů zpravidla nedostatečná. Proto bylo Komisí pro muzea navrženo členským zemím IMA, aby zahájily studium a ověřování typových minerálů z typových lokalit a výsledky publikovaly v odborných časopisech. Z území Čech a Moravy bylo dosud popsáno asi 80 nových minerálů jako jsou např. enstatit, hercynit, uraninit, diaforit, lepidolit, karfolit, kakoxen, stilpnomelan aj. Hlavním záměrem grantu je proto detailní mineralogické studium vybraných typových minerálů, jejich následné označení jako typový materiál ve sbírkách a publikace nových dat v předních odborných časopisech.
