Description	It is not entirely clear why in 1964 1.564 %22useless%22 torah scrolls and 306 associted Torah binders from the then State Jewish Museum were sold abroad by Artia. There was no other such collection in the world as the one founded during World War II by gathering ceremonial objects from jewish communities all over the Protectorate. With this particular sale, 90 % of all Torah scrolls and 30 % of Torah binders were irrevocably los for any cultural needs, for use in exhibitions and research. Because of the ansence of these objects the employes of jewish Museum cannot perfectly identify the rest of the collection. The aim of the project is to gain information on how the sale was proceeded, to summarise the so called war-time documentation about the objects, tophotograph, catalogue and identify the objects in the collection at the Czech Memorial Scrolls Center and prepare materials for an exhibition about the project and its results. (en) Z ne zcela jasných důvodů byla v roce 1964 odprodána tehdejším podnikem Artia do zahraničí unikátní sbírka %22nepotřebných%22 1564 ks svitků Tóry a 306 ks s nimi souvisejících povijanů na Tóru z majetku tehdejšího Státního židovského muzea. Sbírka, vytvořenáv období 2. světové války v Praze svezením liturgických předmětů, užívaných židovskými obcemi na území Protektorátu, neměla ve světě obdoby. Odprodejem bylo pro kulturní, výstavní či vědecké účely nenávratně ztraceno 90 % sbírky svitků Tóry a 30 % sbírkyy povijanů na Tóru. Z důvodu absence těchto předmětů nemohou pracovníci Židovského muzea v Praze odborně určit neodvezené části sbírkového fondu. Cílem projektu je získat dostupné informace o průběhu odprodeje, sumarizovat podklady k jednotlivým sbírkovým předmětům z tzv. válečné evidence, v londýnském centru vyfotografovat, popsat a určit všechny dochované předměty souboru a připravit podklady (libreto a scénář) pro výstavu o průběhu a výsledcích projektu.
