Description
  • About 650 species of European birds in 12000 specimens are situated in museum and other collections in Moravia and Silesia. The first collections come from first half of the 19th century, location, date of collection and collector are known in more than75 per cent of them. In the given zoological collection, there are all the species of birds of the Czech Republic nesting on this territory, passing through it or rarely straying here. Some of the European birds in the collections is classified criticallyendangered, endangered and vulnerable in Europe and in the Czech Republic. Getting them today for collection sets is impossible. Presenting and almost inexhaustible stuff for systematic scientific and documentation work with collections and for comparisoon of the state of individual species in the natural environment from the 19th to the 21th centuries, this collection in overall represents comprehensive and valuable material. It can be used for scientific, demonstration, didactic, exposition purposes. (en)
  • V muzeích a dalších sbírkách na Moravě a ve Slezsku je uloženo přibližně 650 druhů evropských ptáků ve 12000 exemplářích. První sbírky pocházejí z 1. poloviny 19. století a u více než 75 % je známa lokalita, datum sběru a sběratel. V uvedených zoologických sbírkách jsou zastoupeny všechny druhy ptáků České republiky, které na jejím území hnízdí, zimují, protahují tudy, popř. se sem vzácně zatoulávají. Část evropských ptáků ve sbírkách je řazena v Evropě i v ČR ke kriticky ohroženým, ohroženým a zranitelným druhům a jejich získání do sbírkových souborů je dnes nemožné. Komplexně představuje tato kolekce nejen obsáhlý a hodnotný materiál, který prezentuje téměř nevyčerpatelný materiál pro systematickou vědeckou a evidenční práci se sbírkami a pro srovnání stavu jednotlivých druhů v přírodním prostředí od 19. do 21. století. Lze ho využít vědecky, demonstračně, didakticky, studijně apod. Cílem projektu je publikování celého souboru evropských ptáků a ptáků ČR formou katalogu a tak ho zviditelnit.
