Description	The Czech Republic is exposed to a pressure of globalization and it faces to an increasing prices of feedstuffs and inputs into the production process in last year. Concerning breeding of cattle, particularly of dairy cows, there is still used the nutrition model based on the high consumption of concentrates, whose price rapidly rose. This can be faced up by the increase of the quality of roughages. This project is aimed at the evaluation of the production and the dynamics of the forage quality in chosen grasses and legumes in the spring growth. The forage quality will be estimated on the basis of the feeding trials on animals. The feeding rations of the chosen samples of forages and grains used for the metabolic trials in regression configuration will be compiled on the basis of the in vitro analysis. These metabolic trials will enable to obtain the objective information about the partial concentration of nutrients.
