Description
  • The transport of wood by cableways ranks among the wood handling methods most friendly towards the forest environment. The desired extensive use of forest cableways is blocked by economic barriers, especially when they are utilized in the conditions of low logging concentrations (it concerns sanitation cutting, thinning, shelterwood regeneration methods of cutting), where the share of the cableway installation time is high in comparison with the effective time. One of the measures how to decrease the undesirable influence is research and development of a new cableway Lamako H, destined for areas with low logging concentration of timber, too, with parametres – loading 2500 kg, range distance 500 m (standard), tower height 11 m, remote radio command, set-up time 5-6 hours download and 3 hours uphill.
