Description	In the Czech Republic, as in many other countries, land consolidation is an effective program for land ownership defragmentation. The main objectives of this project are: to analyze the characteristics before and after implementation of land consolidation to evaluate these study areas according to the influence of historical, environmental and socio-economic driving forces on the pre-land consolidation ownership pattern, on the consolidation effect, and to identify principles for improving effectivenes of defragmentation effect of land consolidation and land market. (en) Projekt má objasnit příčiny a následky fragmentace vlastnických vztahů v ČR v závislosti na různých přírodních a socio-ekonomických determinantech. Na základě toho pak definovat principy, které by zvýšily efektivitu současných metod defragmentace.
