Description
| - Natural sources of phytoplasmas together with occurrence and activity of insect vectors influence temporal and space spreading of phytoplasma in agroecosystems. The project is focused on selected aspects of vector’s life cycle and genetic diversity of phytoplasma populations. The study is emphased on the migration behavior of psyllid vectors of fruit tree quarantine phytoplasmas (Candidatus Phytoplasma prunorum, Candidatus Phytoplasma mali), on assessing of vector species occurrence in overwintering sites and their infection status, the role of wild and cultural host trees in epidemiological cycle will be elucidated. Genetic diversity of phytoplasma populations and its correlation with ecological and climatic conditions of their occurrence will be studied on the example of stolbur phytoplasma. | - Bylo stanoveno druhové spektrum vektorů fytoplazem ovocných dřevin a stolburu, zjištěna jejich bionomie a infekčnost. A. ribauti byla identifikována jako druhý nejvýznamnější vektor stolburu. Bylo potvrzeno že plané druhy r. Malus a Prunus nejsou epidemiologicky významnými zdroji fytoplazem ovocných dřevin. Na plevelech lokality Lednice byl potvrzen výskyt fytoplazem skupiny 16Srlll, V a XIV. (cs)
- The spectrum of fytoplasma vector species, their bionomy and infectivity was determined. A. ribauti was identified as the second important vector of stolbur phytoplasma. It was confirmed, the wild Malus and Prunus species are not epidemiologically important sources of stone fruit phytoplasmas.
