Description
  • The main objective is to collate existing knowledge of halophytes from gene function to ecosystems that will impact on conservation and management of saline environments and agricultural productions. During proposed work, we will study the mechanisms of stress response of halophytes to xonobiotics with the aim of utilization of achieved results for sustainable land management and fytoremediation of contaminated areas.   • This project described the difference in tolerance and the uptake of xenobiotics by halophyte {J. gerardi) and glycophyte {J. inflexus) species of the genus Juncus. cultivated both, in vitro and in hydroponie system. The differences caused by heavy metals were found on proteomic level, too. (en)
  • V rámci projektu byly popsány rozdíly v toleranci a kinetice přijmu xenobiotik u halofytního (J.gerardi) a glykofytního (J.inflexus) druhu rodu Juncus a to jak u vitro kultur, tak v hydroponickém uspořádání. Rozdíly v odezvě na přítomnost těžkého kovu byly nalezeny i na úrovni proteomu. (cs)
