| Description
| - Economically based the household budget survey (HBS) has been carrying out by means of the Czech Statistical Institute (CSI). In our project (supported by IGA MHCR No. 4525-3) HBS data have been elaborated in a structure which is suitable for basic nutritional evaluation during a time of economy transition and to be internationally comparable. The project was set to convey data from selected diaries of CSI to describe the average annual food availability for the population and social groups, the variability during the year, the proportion of food from communal and individual sources, to verify the found data using the nutritional evaluation and to compare results in terms of the development since 1991 and with the DAFNE data. HBS data are a very valuable tool for a basic nutritional evaluation of food availability during an economy transition. (en)
