Description	The main goal of the grant is to confirm a hypothesis about higher efficacy of combined antidepressant treatment in comparison with antidepressant monotherapy in the treatment of patients with resistant depression in common clinical practice. We will enroll 60 patients resistant to previous antidepressive treatment. They will be randomized into antidepressant monotherapy group and combined antidepressant treatment group. The new antidepressant will be chosen according to the judgement of attending physician. Depressive symptoms and clinical status will be assessed at baseline and after week 2, 4 and 6 of the new treatment using clinical rating scales. Contrary to previous studies combined treatment will start as a completely new intervention, not as an addition of second antidepressant to the previous medication. (en) Hlavním cílem studie je potvrzení předpokladu o vyšší účinnosti kombinace antidepresiv oproti účinnosti monoterapie v léčbě rezistentní deprese v běžné klinické praxi. Do studie vstoupí 60 depresivních pacientů nereagujících na předchozí antidepresivní léčbu, kteří budou randomizováni do dvou skupin - léčené monoterapií antidepresivy a léčené kombinací antidepresiv. Konkrétní antidepresivum bude zvoleno podle klinické úvahy lékaře. Depresivní příznaky a klinický stav bude hodnocen před, po 2, 4 a 6 týdnech nové léčby pomocí klinických hodnotících škál. Oproti předešlým studiím je kombinovaná léčba aplikována od počátku intervence a nejedná se tedy o přidání druhého antidepresiva k stávající antidepresivní léčbě.
