Description
| - Recent studies show an increase in the occurence of testicular tumors, in developmental defects of male reproductive organs, and a decrease in the quality of sperm - these are symptomps of one underlying entity - the dysgenesis syndrom. The difference in localization of sperm, cytoskeletal and heat shock proteins in the sperm between healthy and subfertile men will be tested by specific antibodies. Different proteins in seminal plasma will be evaluated and characterized. Selected endocrine disruptors will used to induce pathological states of reproductive organs and spermatozoa in experimental mouse system. Different parameters of damage (of sperm proteins, cytoskeleton, heat shock proteins) will be tested. The project offers new methods and tools (monoclonal antibodies) for the evaluation of male infertility and for the detection of negative factors which can induce infertility. (en)
- V poslední době dochází k nárustu nádorů testes, různých abnormalit a snížení kvality spermatu. Tyto faktory shrnuje %22Testicular dysgenesis syndrom%22 (TDS). Snižování kvality životního prostředí působí na TDS. Detekce/exprese podobných proteinů bude testována u spermií a v semenné plasmě mužů s normálním a patologickým spermiogramem. Budou porovnány výsledky %22experimentální patologie%22 s patologií u neplodných mužů. Vybrané endokrinní disruptory navodí patologické stavy u zvířat v experimentálním systému. Různé parametry poškození reprodukčních orgánů a spermií budou hodnoceny (proteiny spermie, cytoskelet, %22heat shock%22 proteiny). Projekt poskytne nové, objektivní a citlivé metody a nástroje (monoklonální protilátky) k hodnocení mužské neplodnosti a upozorní na možné negativní faktory, které mohou neplodnost indukovat.
