| - Long-term field experiments allow the assessment of the efficiency of different farming practices and systems over long durations of time. Main focus of these experiments has been laid on agronomic aspects. Therefore yield trends are mainly measured and analysed over time. Furthermore these experiments allow a close insight on aspect beside yield trends like the sustainability of farming system, quality parameters of the harvested products and biodiversity. In Austria, we are in the lucky position of having a long-term experiment assessing the effects of rotational and permanent cropping of rye amended with different fertilizers which was established in 1906 on the Experimental Station of the University of Natural Resources and Live Sciences Vienna in Groß-Enzersdorf.The aims at the start of the long-term trial in 1906 were to assess (i) the possibility of completely replacing farmyard manure by easily soluble mineral fertilisers, (ii) to assess if different fertilisation systems are able to compensate for crop rotation deficits from continuous cropping of winter rye. Given the fact that the experiment has come into its second century it is of high interest performing (1) a comprehensive assessment of the agronomic characteristics of the crop stands more than 100 years after establishment of the experiment; 2) a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between the soil and plant biomass chemical properties including the effects of long-term fertilizer application with a special focus on (2a) macro- (N, P, K, Ca and Mg), micro element (Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn) concentrations and (2b) trace element (As, Cd, Cr, Ni and Pb) concentrations in the soil and the above-ground plant biomass. - Dlouhodobé polní pokusy umožňují hodnotit účinnost různých agronomických postupů po desítky let jejich trvání. Tyto experimenty jsou zpravidla hodnoceny zejména z typicky agronomického pohledu, kdy je sledován zejména výnos pěstovaných plodin a jeho změny v průběhu trvání pokusu. Stejně důležité je ale hodnotit tyto experimenty z hlediska trvalé udržitelnosti testovaných postupů a zejména kvalitativní parametry získané produkce. V Rakousku existuje v experimentální stanici Groß-Enzersdorf při při zemědělské univerzitě University of Natural Resources and Live Sciences Vienna dlouhodobý pokus, který byl založen již v roce 1906. V tomto pokusu je hodnocen vliv různých hnojiv na kulturu žita pěstovaného jak v osevním postupu, tak i permanentně. Náš projekt je zaměřen na komplexní zhodnocení (1) agronomických charakteristik jednotlivých stanovišť po více než 100 letech od založení pokusu a (2) zejména na změny fyzikálně-chemických vlastností půdy a jejich vliv na obsahy (2a) makroprvků (N, P, K, Ca, Mg), mikroprvků (Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn) a stopových a (2b) rizikových prvků (As, Cd, Cr, Ni, Pb) v nadzemní biomase (zejména v konzumním podílu) a v půdě.

| - This project is being realized in the framework of the MOBILITY Activity that aims primarily on establishing and strenghtening ties with foreign research institutions. The control of particular outputs is not implemented by the evalution committee, but the correctness of allocated finances and the adequacy of their use are checked. (en)
- Projekt je realizován v rámci Aktivity MOBILITY, jejímž hlavním cílem je navázání a prohlubování kontaktů se zahraničními výzkumnými institucemi. Neprobíhá tedy kontrola dílčích výstupů projektu prostřednictvím hodnotící komise, avšak je kontrolována správnost čerpání přidělených financí a přiměřenost jejich využití. (cs)
