Description
  • With recent increase of deployed Free-space optical systems covering cities, the complexity and variability of analyses of atmospheric turbulence, fogs, rain attenuation simultaneously affecting accurate measurements dramatically raise. Therefore a new sophisticated methodology will be developed for derivation of time-space characteristics of atmosphere from measured statistics of adaptive Free-space optical systems in urban areas. The outdoor measurement campaign will be supplemented by laboratory measurements of the ultrafast pulse distortion. In order to proceed with basic research of above mentioned phenomena and to measure more complex time dependent statistics, development of ultrashort pulse fiber laser will be necessary. Analytical derivations of joint statistics and pulse propagation in time variant medium as well as detailed analyses of proper spatial distribution and time stability of modes in multimodal fiber used in transmitter for illumination of transmitting lens will be performed.   • Základní výzkum nových optických bezdrátových komunikací zahrnující: 1) relaci mezi časoprostorovými atmosférickými jevy v městské zástavbě a úniky u adaptivních optických systémů (celé systémy obsahující zejména trasovou i vlnovou diverzitu, vícesvazkový přenos) 2) vliv atmosféry na šíření ultrakrátkých optických pulsů 3) šíření optických vln uvnitř budov. Participace mladých vědců v rámci mezinárodní výcestranné vědecké spolupráce.
