| - Aim of project is financial aid of membership in ENTIS - European Network of Teratology Information Services (www.entis-org.com).The general objective for ENTIS is to coordinate and collaborate the activities of the different Teratology Information Services (TIS), and to collect and evaluate data in order to contribute to the primary prevention of birth defects and developmental disorders. About 10 percent of birth defects are related to drugs, chemicals, infections, known maternal illnesses or other exposures. Birth defects caused by teratogens can be prevented. The main task of each TIS is to recognize and to detect risk factors with the objective of preventing birth defects. To execute this task each TIS counsels individual cases with exposure to drugs and other exogenous agents during pregnancy with respect to the risk of reproductive toxicity. Data collected are used for epidemiological studies in order to provide information to the medical care providers and improve pharmacotherapy of pregnan (en)
- Cílem projektu je získat nové informace o vlivu léků na reprodukci u člověka na základě sledování těhotenství, která jim byla vystavena a na základě experimentu na zvířeti. Studie budou zaměřeny na léky, o kterých je jen minimum informací.

| - Cílem studie bylo určit riziko embryotoxicity při léčbě chronických onemocnění, vliv psychotropních léků na vývoj plodu a účast na kolaborativních studiích organizovaných ENTIS (makrolidi, statiny a mycophenolát mofetil). Výsledkem řešení projektu je kapitola v monografii, 6 článků v časopisech s IF, 4 články v recenzovaných časopisech, 1 doporučení pro léčbu v těhotenství (viz Reprotox). (cs)
- Aim of the study was to determine risk of embryotoxicity caused by treatment of chronic diseases, psychotropic drugs, and participation on collaborative studies organized by ENTIS (macrolides, statins, mycophenolate mofetil). Project resulted in 1 chapter in monography, 6 articles in journals with IF, 4 articles in reviewed journals, 1 recommendation for treatment during pregnancy (see Reprotox). (en)
