Description	The project includes wide experimental and theoretical research in the main branches of nuclear and subnuclear physics. An important feature of the project is the participation at large international collaboratotions and programs. New information on the microcosmos properties will be obtained predominantly by the experimental study of nuclei behavior in heavy ion collisions and ind the fields of laser radiation, beta decay, electron-positron and electron-proton collisions, as well as by the theoretical study of non-nucleonic degrees of freedom in nuclei, interactions of hadrons with nuclei, collective states of nuclei, perturbative and nonperturbative aspects of quantum chromodynamics and supersymmetries. Implications for other fields of physics and science and technological applications are expected. The projects includes also the preparation of detectors for the experimantal facilities under construction. (en) Projekt zahrnuje mnohostranný experimentální i teoretický výzkum v hlavních oblastech jaderné a subjaderné fyziky. Přitom výrazným rysem je zapojení do rozsáhlé mezinárodní spolupráce a programů. Nové poznatky o vlastnostech mikrosvěta budou získávány zejména experimentálním studiem chování jader ve srážkách těžkých iontů a v polích laserového záření, rozpadu beta, elektron-positronových a elektron-protonových srážek, jakož i teoretickým studiem nenukleonových stupňů volnosti v jádrech, interakcí hadronů s jádry, kolektivních stavů v jádrech, poruchových i neporuchových aspektů kvantové chromodynamiky a supersymetrií. Předpokládají se i implikace pro jiné fyzikální a vědní obory a oblasti technologických aplikací. Součástí projektu je i příprava detektorů pro budovaná experimentální zařízení.
