Description	The solution is divided into nine separate sections, covering selected parts of scintillation and gas detectors for the use in radon problems, the distribution and principles of radon behaviour inside the buildings. The attention is also paid to the technique for measurement of the radon concentrations in air on the natural background level (< 50 Bq/m3) and to the problem of the 220Rn (thoron) measurement. Other problems also studied are the soil air radon concentration time courses and the equipment for measurement of the diffusion coefficient in the materials used as the building substructure insulation and its dependence on the operation temperature. (en) Řešení úkolu je děleno do devíti dílčích cílů, pokrývajících vybrané partie scintilačních a plynových detektorů určených pro radonovou problematiku, studia distribuce a zákonitostí chování radonu ve stavbách. Pozornost je věnována také technice sledování objemových aktivit radonu na úrovni pozadí ve vnějším ovzduší (< 50 Bq/m3) a problematice měření 220Rn (thoron). Dalším předmětem řešení je studium časových průběhů radonu v podloží a zařízení pro měření součinitele difúze v materiálech používaných ke spodní izolaci staveb a jeho závislosti na provozní teplotě.
