Description	In the context of the fact that Czech literature in the late 19th cetury copes with the need to decipt the individual experiences of artist,there is also increasing requirement in the foreground that woman-artists writes in a way which is based on her peculiar experiences as a woman and produces works reflecting her membership of femal gender. Woman-writers in the 19th century did not stress the femal viewpoint in their works. In the period which is in the centre of our interest the situation cchanges. The new generation asks a new questions about the role of woman in the society as well as about the woman as writer and the specifity of her contribution. New types of story and new topisc emerge and the conception of femal protagonists changes. By comparison of selected works written in the same period by male and female writters the proposed project intends to try to characterise the peculiarity of woman´s writing in that period. (en) V souvislosti s tím, jak se česká literatura na konci 19. století vyrovnává s požadavkem zobrazit individuální zkušenost tvůrce, vystupuje do popředí i požadavek, aby žena-umělkyně tvořila ze své svébytné zkušenosti, vytvářela díla odrážející její příslušnost k ženskému rodu. Spisovatelky v 19. století nezdůrazňovaly ve svých dílech ženský úhel pohledu, naopak se snažily vřadit do národní literatury jako její integrální součást. V období, které je v centru našeho zájmu, se situace radikálně mění i pod vlivem emancipačního hnutí, které k nám v té době proniká. Nová generace autorek si klade nově otázku po úloze ženy ve společnosti i ženy jako spisoavetlky a po specifičnosti jejího přínosu. Objevují se nové typy příběhů a nová témata. Srovnáním vybraných děl psaných v téže době spisovatelkami-ženami a spisovateli-muži se chce navrhovaný projekt pokusit ukázat na specifičnost ženského přínosu.
