| Description
| - The grant proposal seeks funding for a five-year research plan addressing the present and past thermal conditions in selected sedimentary basins of the Czech Republic. The thermal history of sedimentary rocks will be studied by few independent methods, which will provide the quantitative data of the maximum temperature experienced by the rock, possibly on the timing and pressure conditions. The methods are based on the organic matter maturation, the illite crystallinity and the fluid inclusions. Investigation of present conditions comprises temperature logging in boreholes, estimation of thermophysical properties of rocks and mathematical modelling of the heat transfer. It will focus on the basins of the Ohře Graben and the adjacent area. There are many unprocessed temperature for the complex geothermal research. (en)
- Cílem navrhovaného pětiletého grantu je studium současných a minulých teplotních poměrů ve vybraných sedimentárních pánvích v České republice. Teplotní historie pánevních usazenin bude zkoumána řadou metod, které poskytnou informace o maximální teplotě, které byla hornina vystavena, popřípadě i o čase, kdy k tomu došlo a o tlakových poměrech. Budou použity metody založené zejména na stupni prouhelnění organické hmoty, formě jílové krystalizace a obsahu plynokapalných uzavřenin. Studium současných teplotních poměrů bude zahrnovat měření teploty ve vrtech, měření parametrů hornin (tepelná a teplotní vodivost, tepelná produkce) a matematické modelování přenosu tepla a bude zaměřeno především na širší okolí podkrušnohorských pánví, odkud existuje dostatek dosud nezpracovaných dat i vrty vhodné pro komplexní geotermický výzkum.
