Description	The necessary prerequisite for a successful therapy of such complex organ as the hand is the respect paid to the biomechanical conditions of its function. The project comprises the solution of selected problems of the biomechanics of hand and the replacements of the finger joints. The proposed project concerns computational and experimental modelling of (i) optimization of the interphalangeal joint implant and biomechanical behaviour of hand bones; the further aim is an ascertainment of the influence of the implant on the behaviour and the stress state of the respective finger bones, (ii) evaluation of the actual stress state of the articulate cartilage of an interphalangeal joint in the course of loading during two methods of treatment andwith the knowledge of mechanical properties of hard and soft human tissues. The compression concentration in the interphalangeal joint is substantial for analysing of this problem and then it can be compared usefulness of both methods of treatment. (en) Nové metody léčby v chirurgii ruky a revmatochirurgii přinášejí v poslední době řadu biomechanických problémů, neboť je nutno objektivně posoudit průběh a výsledek nových klinických postupů. Projekt se zabývá řešením vybraných problémů biomechaniky ruky a náhrad prstových kloubů pomocí výpočtového a experimentálního modelování. Projekt je rozdělen do dvou problémů: (i) optimalizace náhrady interfalangálního kloubu Swansonova typu a nalezení vhodného modelu pro kosti prstů ruky, aby bylo možno posoudit interakci mezi implantátem a operovanou kostí s cílem co nejvíce zlepšit pohyblivost a úchopovou funkci ruky po operaci; (ii) posoudit dvě metody léčby flekční kontraktury interfalangálního kloubu s cílem vytvořit ve spolupráci s ortopédy doporučení pro jejich využití pro konkrétní případy onemocnění ruky. Obě metody rekonstrukce interfalangálního kloubu se od sebe význěmně liší způsobem provedení, neboť se jedná o a) postupné dlahování, b) natahování pomocí repozičního přístroje.
