Description	The fundamental aim of this project is to obtain data, which will pave the way for legislative changes in the regulation of conditions and requirements for the establishment and operation of facilities for children needing immediate assistance (ZDVOP) and the way of their financial support from the state. The research results will be used in assessing the development potential of ZDVOPs, their purpose and position in the system of care for children at risk. The research will focus on the following issues: reasons for custody of child in ZDVOP; characteristics of children in care of ZDVOP; the scope and method of providing care and support by ZDVOP; cooperation of ZDVOPs with bodies of the social-legal protection of children and other stakeholders; length of stay of children in ZDVOP and reasons for termination of their stay; the economic issues associated with the operation of ZDVOPs. (en) Základním cílem projektu je získat údaje, které budou podkladem pro legislativní změny v úpravě podmínek a požadavků na zřizování a provoz zařízení pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc (ZDVOP) a způsobu jejich finanční podpory ze strany státu. Výsledky výzkumu budou sloužit při posuzování možností rozvoje ZDVOP, jejich účelu a postavení v systému péče o ohrožené děti. Výzkum se zaměří zejména na následující otázky: důvody pro svěření dítěte do péče ZDVOP; charakteristika dětí v péči ZDVOP; rozsah a způsob poskytování péče a odborné pomoci ze strany ZDVOP; spolupráce ZDVOP s orgány sociálně-právní ochrany dětí a dalšími zainteresovanými subjekty; délka pobytu dětí v ZDVOP a důvody ukončení jejich pobytu; ekonomické otázky spojené s provozem ZDVOP.
