| - The aim of the project is to describe the genesis of the Krátký film (KF) organisation as a crucial basis of the Czechoslovak documentary film production during the period between the establishment of KF in the 1945 and its first reorganisation following the year 1950. The current project will chart the formation of the inner structure of KF, discuss how the organisation was influenced by other institutions (the ČSF Central Office, the Ministry of Information), and the cooperations between KF and various industrial, agrarian or scientific organisations, cooperative on a portion of KF’s production, will be taken into account as well. The chart of the KF’s institutional ties will serve as a starting point for a KF production strategies analysis. This analysis will uncover the typology of KF’s cooperation with state enterprises or ministries. The production of KF will be analysed in relation to the national-promotional plan, i.e. the project will scrutinize how KF helped create the image of socialistic culture. In addition to that, the project will present the distribution circles of KF production (common movie theatres, state enterprises, schools). The output of the project will be a monograph manuscript, partial findings of which will be published in periodicals and presented at international conferences. (en)
- Záměrem projektu je popsat zrod organizace Krátký film (KF) jakožto klíčové platformy výroby čs. dokumentárního filmu v období bezprostředně po jejím ustavení v roce 1945 do roku její reorganizace po roce 1950. Projekt zmapuje formování vnitřní organizační struktury KF, bude se zabývat tím, jaký vliv na její fungování mělo napojení na jiné instituce (Ústřední ředitelství ČSF, Ministerstvo informací), a zohlední také spolupráci mezi KF a průmyslovými, zemědělskými či vědeckými organizacemi, v jejichž spolupráci část produkce KF vznikala. Mapa institucionálních vazeb KF poslouží jako východisko pro analýzu produkčních strategií KF, která odhalí typy kooperace KF se státními podniky či s ministerstvy. Produkce KF bude nahlédnuta ve vztahu k státně-propagačnímu plánu, tedy k tomu, jak pomáhala utvářet obraz socialistické kultury. Projekt dále představí distribuční okruhy produkce KF (běžná kina, státní podniky, školy). Výstupem projektu bude rukopis monografické publikace, jeho dílčí výsledky budou publikovány v časopisech a prezentovány na mezinárodních konferencích.

| - The reaseacher fullfilled intended aims of the research - texts based on it can be found in the final report attachment. The final report is a very detailed one. Unfortunately no monography resulted from this project but the researcher did not outspokenly promise that. The formulation is that monography %22is presumed%22. The number of the separate studies and papers is high. (en)
- Řešitelka splnila předsevzané cíle výzkumu - texty vzniklé v rámci projektu jsou přiloženy k závěrečné zprávě. V rámci práce si nevznikla odoborná monografie, ale jen publikované články či články, které budou publikovány, nicméně v původní žádosti o grant se k vydání monografie výslovně nezavázala a pouze uvedla, že je zamýšlena i odborná momografie. Počet dílčích studií je nicméně vysoký. (cs)
