Description	The aim of the project is to make a contribution to the effort of overcoming one of the deficiencies of both the Czech legal practice and theory - the lack of analyses of the actual and potential effects of the regulation, the lack of utilizing the economic analyses of law. The subject of the project is competition law with its three main areas - anticartel law, law against abuse of dominant position and merger control. The project is based on the integrated approach from both legal and economic perspectives, which supports the scientific value and theoretical and practical benefits of the project. The outcomes will be journal articles, conference papers and first of all a scientific monograph in Czech language on the theme of the economic analysis of competition law, witch is lacking on the market. Apart from that, the outcomes are utilizable for the educational purposes of innovation and creation of new academic courses at the faculty of law. (en) Projekt by měl přispět k překonání jednoho z nedostatků české právní doktríny i praxe, spočívající v nedostatečném zkoumání skutečných i potenciálních ekonomických účinků regulace, v nevyužívání možností ekonomické analýzy práva. Předmětem projektu je soutěžní právo se svými třemi hlavními oblastmi - protikartelové právo, právo proti zneužití dominantního postavení a kontrola spojování soutěžitelů. Projekt je založen na integrujícím přístupu k problematice z hlediska právního i ekonomického, v čemž spočívá jeho hlavní vědecká hodnota a teoretický a praktický přínos. Výstupem bude řada odborných článků a konferenčních příspěvků a především česky psaná vědecká monografie na téma ekonomické analýzy soutěžního práva, která na trhu doposud chybí. Vedle toho je jedním z cílů také využití výsledků pro inovaci a zavedení nových předmětů vyučovaných na právnické fakultě.

The project´s conclusions have been presented in an extensive monograph and in journals, esp. in European Competition Law Review (though the periodical is not listed in the R&D results database).The project goals have been satisfactorily met.
