Description	The aim of the proposed research is to examine the earliest aspect of infant communicative abilities, namely sharing of emotions with others. A theoretical controversy exists between authors who argue that infant behaviours during communicative interactions are simply responses to adults’ social signals, and others who suggest that infants are actively involved in communicative exchanges which allow them to regard others as participating with them in the sharing of relevant experience. To shed light on this controversy, the proposed research seeks to reveal physiological correlates of emotion sharing that accompany maternal and infant behaviours, in a sample of typically-developing as well as premature infants. Moreover, emotion sharing will be examined as a function of maternal affect attunement. Thus, the proposed research will combine behavioural and physiological measures to clarify the meaning of early communication. (en) Cílem navrhovaného výzkumu je prozkoumat nejranější aspekty kojeneckých komunikativních schopností, a to sdílení emocí s ostatními lidmi. Podle jedné teorie je chování kojenců během raných komunikativních interakcí pouhou reakcí na sociální signály dospělých. Vedle tohoto názoru však existuje také představa, že kojenci jsou naopak aktivními účastníky komunikativních výměn. Z hlediska tohoto pojetí kojenci percipují své komunikační partnery jako někoho, kdo s nimi bezprostředně sdílí jejich relevantní zkušenosti. V rámci objasnění tohoto sporu se navrhovaný výzkumný projekt bude zaměřovat na analýzu fyziologických korelátů sdílení emocí, které doprovází chování matky a dítěte, a to jak v běžné kojenecké populaci, tak i u nedonošených jedinců. Pozornost bude také soustředěna na sdílení emocí z hlediska funkce mateřského emocionálního sladění. K objasnění významu rané komunikace bude navrhovaný výzkum kombinovat behaviorální a fyziologické parametry.
