Description	The basic research project is based on conclusion of the dissertation thesis %22Taking shape of the learned professions in Moravská Ostrava and Opava at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century%22. The project is based on taking excerpts from census sheets of selected regions in the Czech countries from 1869 to 1910. The scientific contribution of the work will be creation of the first collective biography of the learned professions like that are interpreted by German and Austrian historiography. They call the learned professions Bildungsbürgertum and the concept includes free profession, technical intelligentsia, teachers and clerks. It means men who had secondary education or a university degree and who had as good salary as they were entitled to vote in local authority elections as dignitaries or taxpayers. One of all tasks of the work will be describing of the specializations of the learned professions in the Czech countries. The collective biography and career (en) Projekt základního výzkumu se zakládá na závěrech disertační práce %22Zformování vzdělaných vrstev občanů v Moravské Ostravě a v Opavě v druhé polovině 19. a na počátku 20. století%22. Vědecký přínos projektu založeného na excerpci dat ze sčítacích operátů zlet 1869-1910 pro vybrané lokality v českých zemích bude spočívat ve vytvoření první kolektivní biografie vzdělaných vrstev občanů v pojetí německé a rakouské historiografie Bildungsbürgertum (svobodná povolání, technická inteligence, pedagogové a úřednictvo - tj. vysokoškolsky popř. středoškolsky vzdělaní muži s určitou výší příjmů a právem volit jako honorace nebo plátci daně v obecních volbách) v české historiografii. Jedním z dílčích cílů projektu bude zachycení procesu profesní specializace vzdělaných vrstev občanů v českých zemích. Kolektivní biografie i zjištěná profesní specializace přispějí k zasazení vývoje vzdělaných vrstev občanů v českých zemích do středoevropského kontextu. Projekt se zaměří i na podchycení podílu na moci
