The project focuses on the research of bi- and multilateral relationships between Prague and artistic centres in the Central Europe between 1400-1420. The topic itself will deal with panel painting with essential interference into other fields of figurative art. The project aims to answer questions concerning the chronology of the Bohemian painting in the 1st third of the 15th c. Expected results will be brought by consistent comparative analysis of the preserved material with works originated under the Bohemian influence which are preserved widely in Central Europe. The international aspect has been underestimated in the older research although the selected approach drags higher number of precisly datable monuments into field of view. Therefore it enables to specify and make the date frame of the Bohemian painting at the beg. of the 15th c. more dense. The project is proposed for 3 years with the regard of teritorial extent of the topic, technologic analysis and the outcome - a volume published by the NG in Prague. It will bring concluded synthetic elaboration of the subject. (en)
