| Description
| - The grant concerns a psychodiagnostic approach developed in a field of the personal construct theory (PCT). The constructivist diagnostics offers an insight into the dynamics of human action as well as a psychodynamic approach, but its concepts are defined in a clearer and more rational way. It is therefore opened to empirical validation as well as a descriptive diagnostics. The research focuses namely on three fundamental dimensions of the constructivist diagnostics: cognitive complexity, looseness-tightness and dilation-constriction. These axes will be measured through the computer adaptation of the revised Semantic Selection Test. Proposed indexes of the diagnostic dimensions will be compared with attributes of clinical and non-clinical samples (e.g. psychosomatic symptoms, eating disorders, cognitive skills, etc.). The research will be triangulated with another constructivist method (e.g. the REP-Test). The outputs of the grant will be the clarification of selected PCT hypotheses and the development of a modern method usable in a research and practice. (en)
