Description	Air transport is experiencing a dynamic development in the Czech Republic and in the area of Central Europe. There are a number of reasons - a change of organization framework (the effect of deregulation and liberalisation) including social, economic and political changes (eg. the accession to EU and the implementation of common transport policy in the field of air transport). As a result of the above, the map of air transport in the Czech Republic and Central Europe changes radically, especially the serviced destinations and frequencies. Therefore the accessibility of the region changes radically too in both European and global contexts. Due to the close link between air transport and globalized economy, there are significant economic and regional consequences. The project aim is the analysis of the indicated changes in the Czech Republic and Central European space. In addition to the geographical analysis of changes, the aim is to identify the causes of the changes and to formulate possible spatial and economic consequences as well as outline of future development. (en) Cílem projektu je analýza změn letecké dopravy v ČR i ve středoevropském prostoru. Kromě geografické analýzy změn mapy letecké dopravy je cílem i identifikace příčin těchto změn a rovněž formulace možných prostorových a ekonomických důsledků. Cílem je i prognóza budoucího vývoje.
