In the present project, the electromigration separation methods will be developed for the application in two-dimensional separation systems combined with liquid chromatography. Capillary electrophoretic and capillary electrochromatographic separations will be optimized to obtain fast analyses with maximum resolving power and peak capacity. Background electrolytes compatible with mobile phases for liquid chromatography will be selected. Using modification of capillary walls, addition of selectivity changing agents to the background electrolytes and using programming of voltage and composition of background electrolyte, the speed of analysis and separation selectivity will be modified. Developed multidimensional methods will be applied for the analysis of environmental pollutants, natural or food samples and food supplements. (en)
