Description	Research under this project will focus on the study of prospective physical and technical possibilities of metamaterials with resp. to their future using for new medical treatments and diagnostics methods based on the EM field interactions with human body. Research activities will be a continuation of the proposer's dissertation thesis: %22Electrically Miniaturized Antennas Based on Zeroth-Order Resonance.%22 And it will be matched to the proposer's workplace – FBMI CTU. The main aim of this project is to create a theory and mathematical models of promising MTM based therapy and diagnostics. In principle it will be based on modelling of optimized radiation of EM waves in the treated resp. examined part of the patient's body and sensing of EM fields in the surrounding area (e.g. hyperthermia, tomography, etc.) or only scanning EM field around the patient (radiometry). In this project, we do not plan any biological or medical experiments, it will be mainly based on computer simulations of the EM field interaction with the human body using its digital models (several different models). (en) Výzkum v rámci tohoto projektu bude zaměřen na studium perspektivních fyzikálních a technických možností metamateriálů s ohledem na jejich budoucí využití pro nové lékařské léčebné i diagnostické metody vycházejících z interakce EM pole s lidským tělem. Výzkumné aktivity budou navazovat na výsledky disertační práce navrhovatele projektu: „Electrically Miniaturized Antennas Based on Zeroth-Order Resonance“. Tematicky budou orientovány na pracoviště navrhovatele - FBMI ČVUT. Odborným cílem projektu je vytvoření teorie a k ní příslušných matematických modelů perspektivních metod mikrovlnné lékařské terapie a diagnostiky. V principu půjde o optimalizované vyzáření EM vlny do léčené resp. vyšetřované oblasti pacientova těla a snímání EM pole v jeho okolí (tomografie, měření permitivity) resp. snímání EM pole kolem pacienta (radiometrie). V rámci tohoto projektu neplánujeme biologické nebo lékařské experimenty, půjde hlavně o počítačové simulace interakce EM pole s tělem člověka, a to při využití digitálních modelů člověka (vždy několik různých modelů).
