The project concerns with preparation of Au nanostructures on polymers. Surface properties of modified polymers will be characterized. Sputtering and grafting will be used as deposition methods for preparation of gold nanostructures on modified and pristine polymers. Electrical and morphological properties of gold layers on pristine and modified polymers will be examined. Adhesion of gold layers on polymer substrate will be studied. Plasma and laser modification will be used as a method improving adhesion of Au layer on polymer. Goal of the work is the preparation of Au-polymer systems with the aplication in microelectronics, analytical chemistry, food industry and tissue engineering. New experimental data obtained will contribute to better understanding of the growth mechanisms of Au layers on polymers. (en)
Projekt se zabývá přípravou struktur Au-polymer, které jsou důležité v řadě elektronických aplikací a tkáňovém inženýrství. Studuje deponované a roubované struktury Au v závislosti na vlastnostech polymeru. Rozvíjeny jsou teoretické i praktické zkušenosti studentů PGS.
